Have you ever had trouble sleeping, fearing their might be someone hiding underneath your bed or if you ever saw the movie “The conjuring” and started to wonder if your house had any unwanted guests?
Now don’t get me wrong; I’m not saying that these things don’t exist, they do exist!. Theres an old clitche “every story has two sides” and so does our imagination. We fear the unseen yet still don’t realize the real physical threat haunting the depths of our minds as well as our lives. The real monster that we should fear is ourselves because its mostly ourselves that damage us the most.We make our own monsters then fear them for what they show us about ourselves. Ever took something you knew that wasn’t yours while having the knowledge that “THING” might mean the world to someone else or have you ever witnessed something wrong that you knew you could’ve corrected but didn’t do so, these things are what haunt us the most. The things that we didn’t do whilst we had the opportunity are what bugs us more than anything.Lately their has been a lot of terrorism spreading throughout the world but it isn’t just the terrorists that are destroying the world, we the so called peace loving freedom-fighters who support feminism, are against racial and domestic abuse and respect human as well as animal rights don’t seem to be moved when innocent people are killed unless they belong to our country or nationalities. Hundreds and thousands of innocent children and families were killed in Syria, we all so what was happening but didn’t budge, we just sat there and watched the death toll increase day by day by day until most of Syria was shattered to the ground. Now you might be thinking why me, the writer of this post doesn’t mention himself when it comes to taking a stand but just think for a sec a single person can never bring a revolution, it doesn’t work like that!. We need to be united to solve such problems but can individually fight the monsters inside of us that make us do these things in the first place. Now I believe in a simple code of conduct, you can disagree with me if you want, its a so-called free world though,”everybody has a heart, even a cold blooded serial killer has one but it all matters on how the way we keep it, the only difference between us and a serial killer is that they are cold blooded- the aren’t warm and peace loving like us, whenever we hear such sorrowful news about a terrorist attack or a natural disaster, we if not concsiously then sub-concsiously wish we could do something yet this monster blocks are path and our soul is gradually drowned into darkness embracing the monster that does exist.
